Last night was Friday Night Live with Acrylic University host Jed Dorsey who was joined remotely by special guest artist, Dianna Shyne – two artists painting from a photograph of trembling aspen trees in Prince Edward Island, Canada. I participated and painted along with others as we listened to the artists talk. It was so much fun!
I have happy memories of camping on Prince Edward Island with my childhood family. And during the pandemic I have been rereading the Anne of Green Gables series of books by L.M. Montgomery.

This one was fun to create, as we have such happy memories camping on the Mattole River when the kids were young.

My new art foray is acrylic paint. Painting with acrylic paint is much different than painting with watercolor paint. So much different that I signed up for web lessons with Acrylic University. This painting I started a few weeks ago, and I am going to move on and start the lessons. I will continue on with Inktober 52, as it is only one drawing a week. I enjoy the challenge as creating art makes one think.

Remote #5 Inktober52
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, since March 18, 2020, my husband, Greg and I have spent most all of our time working remotely from home. We first set up or home office and ran our business from the dining room table. Soon we converted extra bedrooms into our home offices. This room is now my office, yoga, and art room. It is where I work remotely.
