Winter Sunset
8″ x 10″ Golden Open Acrylic on Fredrix Watercolor Board.
My new art foray is acrylic paint. Painting with acrylic paint is much different than painting with watercolor paint. So much different that I signed up for web lessons with Acrylic University. This painting I started a few weeks ago, and I am going to move on and start the lessons. I will continue on with Inktober 52, as it is only one drawing a week. I enjoy the challenge as creating art makes one think.
Wow! I like it! The colors are very beautiful. It is nice to see so many nice colors this time of year. Here we have snow and branches except the evergreen trees! You did a nice job with the acrylics. The grass looks nice and you can see the shadows from the trees. Is that in your yard?

Thank you, Karen. Yes, that is the west side yard looking through the birch trees and the rhododendron out to the Pacific Ocean and the Eel River.
