Bell Pepper (s)

6″ x 6″ Acrylic Paint

Lesson 2 with Dianna Shyne of Acrylic University.

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again then quit. I really wanted to master this lesson. I am not really thrilled with any of these four attempt of painting a red pepper. However, I am not going to consider this a failure, but look at it as a positive learning experience.

Painting with heavy body acrylic paint is a much different experience than painting with watercolor paint. Acrylic painting is much messier! The paints dry fast. To keep the paints from drying out, I am going to use Masterson Premier Pallet which has a machine washable sponge to keep the paint from drying out. We shall see if this truly does keep the paint from drying out.
