Today is Juneteenth 2020. Juneteenth is a holiday that celebrates the liberation of slaves in the United States. I am hopeful that Juneteenth (June 19) will become a National Holiday in the United States.
Step by step process:
First, I measured and drew my sketch with pencil on FREDRIX Watercolor Canvas Board.
After drawing the letters with NIKOPIKO Line-3, a permanent ink pen, I erased the pencil.
Using Daniel Smith Ultramarine Blue, I painted the letters, then let the painting dry.
Painting and drawing daisies –
Painted border.
Added background and let dry.
Finished!
Color: Daniel Smith Hansa Yellow, Cascade Green, Forest Green, Ultramarine Blue. Windsor and Newton Pale Rose Watercolor Marker, and Ecoline Reddish Brown Brush Pen.
Very nice “Juneteenth” painting.Very colorful! It was very interesting to see the process you went through! Amazing how you planned it out and then painted and finished it!
