This piece has a texture so reminding me of the fabric I use in my textile art work…and I stopped to read about the painting to make certain that it was not created in fiber. Lovely lilac painting and how great to have successfully grown from a cutting. Ever the fine gardener, I see your work with water colors pulling from your internal library of knowledge of plants, flowers and landscapes. Once again a most successful painting.

Hi, Kristin,
The 300 lb weight of the paper allows for more paint on the paper and helps with the vibtancy of color. This heavier weight paper is very thick. I love to paint on it.
