Trembling Aspens
9″ x 12″ Acrylic on Stonehenge Aqua Coldpress Black Paper
Last night was Friday Night Live with Acrylic University host Jed Dorsey who was joined remotely by special guest artist, Dianna Shyne – two artists painting from a photograph of trembling aspen trees in Prince Edward Island, Canada. I participated and painted along with others as we listened to the artists talk. It was so much fun!
I have happy memories of camping on Prince Edward Island with my childhood family. And during the pandemic I have been rereading the Anne of Green Gables series of books by L.M. Montgomery.
Wow! Beautiful painting of the trembling aspens. Beautiful colors and details. So glad you are enjoying your classes. It must be so much fun plus to have input from others. Carl and I went to PEI on our honeymoon many years ago! We were much younger and drove up from MA. It was quite an adventure for us. We did see a lot of beautiful things and places. Keep up with the great art work and all the beautiful colors!
